DESCRIPTION:Rain date: This event is rain or shine.Fees: This event is free and open to all. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW) and the Plymouth County Commission on the Status of Women (PCCSW) for an upcoming hybrid public hearing focusing on issues affecting women and girls in the Commonwealth – this time at the Brockton Campus of Massasoit Community College! \n\n\n\nYour input on issues that matter to you directly informs the MCSW legislative agenda and policy priorities. Join us and make your voice heard!  \n\n\n\nThe event is free and open to the public and will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. Residents\, legislators\, and other community stakeholders from Plymouth County and across the Commonwealth are invited to attend\, and testimony is open to any member of the public\, including elected officials. We’re asking anyone interested in issues that impact women\, children\, and families to share their experiences\, to learn from one another\, and create change\, together. Register to indicate any language or accessibility needs you may have. \n\n\n\nWhat: Hybrid Public HearingWhen: Tuesday\, March 24\, 2026Time: 6:00 – 8:00pmWhere: Brockton Campus of Massasoit Community CollegeOne Massasoit Blvd. Brockton\, MA 02302 \n\n\n\nIf you are joining us in person\, we will be at the Massasoit Community College – Brockton Campus Student Lounge\, 1 Massasoit Blvd. Brockton\, MA 02302. \n\n\n\nToday’s Meeting and Public Hearing will take place in the MCC Student Center\, marked on the map as ‘SC’. The closest Visitor Parking Lot is located by the Administration Building marked on the campus map as ‘A.” Once in the Student Center (SC) you will be looking for the Student Lounge (Room SC1883) on the Ground Level. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOther Interpretation Services (D/deaf\, hard of Briefing\, language interpretation): \n\n\n\nIf you are a D/deaf or person hard of Breifing with a disability who requires an accommodation or are someone who would benefit from language interpretation in a language other than English (ex: Spanish\, Portuguese\, etc.)\, please indicate your need on the registration form. \n\n\n\nPrivacy Matters to Us: \n\n\n\nAttendees names and images may become visible during the event.
