Dr. Candace E. Pérez is an organizational transformation strategist, executive advisor, researcher, and leadership development professional whose work focuses on strengthening institutions, advancing organizational effectiveness, and cultivating purposeful, accountable leadership.

She is the Founder and Principal Advisor of Aurchemy Advisory, an independent advisory practice specializing in organizational transformation, executive leadership, strategic alignment, and institutional effectiveness. Her interdisciplinary experience spans healthcare, public administration, nonprofit organizations, and enterprise operations, informing an approach that integrates organizational strategy, human development, and sustainable institutional change.

Dr. Pérez holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Human and Organizational Development, a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Arts. She is also a certified executive coach, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective to leadership, organizational culture, and executive decision-making.

Her scholarly interests and research encompass reproductive justice, women’s reproductive autonomy, and the systemic barriers that influence women’s health, economic mobility, and institutional participation. She advocates for reproductive rights, equitable access to healthcare, and the advancement of employment equity for Black women, particularly in addressing structural inequities that affect professional opportunity, leadership representation, and economic security.

As a member of the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women, Dr. Pérez brings a commitment to women’s economic advancement, reproductive freedom, leadership representation, equitable opportunity, and institutional accountability. Her public service reflects her belief that women’s advancement requires not only individual achievement, but also the transformation of systems and structures that shape access, opportunity, and economic security.
