Welcome to the 2025 Girls Empowerment Leadership Initiative (GELI) Summit. Information regarding transportation, parking, where to find the summit, and more can be found below.

Time:
8:00am: Doors open, registration begins
8:00am – 9:00am: Registration and Breakfast
9:00am – 9:30am: Welcome Remarks & Event Logistics
10:00am – 11:00pm: Session I
11:30am – 12:15pm: Networking, lunch & resource tabling
12:45pm – 1:45pm: Session II
2:00 pm – 3:00pm: Session III
3:30 – 4:30pm: Youth Led Town Hall
4:30pm – 5:00pm: Closing remarks
5:00 – 5:30: Adjourn, load buses & student pick-up!
Dress Code
Some of these events will take place outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear with closed toes athletic/walking shoes.
Pick up & Drop-off Information
On-Site Student drop-off (morning of): 45 Water Street Woods Hole (Falmouth), MA (in front of the Redfield Auditorium).
On-Site Student pickup: Students must be picked up by designated parent/guardian at 45 Water Street Woods Hole (Falmouth), MA.
On-Site Adult or Participant Parking: If you’re joining us for the day and need on-site parking, upon arrival you’ll head to 49 School Street. You will be given a parking pass upon arrival. Plan to arrive at 8:00AM (parking & walking over 5-8 minutes)
Where to go once on Campus: Check-in and registration is at the Redfield Auditorium.
Water Filling Stations:
Bring a water bottle and go green on the WHOI campus! All water filling stations across the WHOI campus are marked by a water droplet:
Village Campus:
- Swope Center (main lobby next to restrooms)
- Candle House (1st floor parking lot side lobby)
- Lillie Building (1st floor outside Lillie 103)
- Marine Research Center (2nd floor across from MRC 210)
