MCSW Advocacy Day 2025: Event Logistics & Info

Advocacy Day is held by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW) to rally for legislation that advances rights and opportunities for all women and girls across the Commonwealth.

MASSACHUSETTS STATEHOUSE, GREAT HALL OF FLAGS — Every other year, to coincide with the launch of a new legislative session, the MCSW welcomes hundreds of community activists to the Statehouse to rally behind the legislation that increases women’s access to opportunities and equality.

The MCSW invites all members of the community to join us for Advocacy Day 2025 at the Massachusetts Statehouse on Monday, March 24, 2025.

The Commission discusses key findings from the previous year in collaboration with regional Commissions, reports findings collected from public hearings hosted during the year throughout the Commonwealth, and lays out our legislative priorities for the coming session. Attendees also hear from the Commission Chair, Regional Commission Chairs, State Legislators, and more.

Speak with legislators about issues that affect you, your family, and your community. Hear from elected officials about the status of women’s access to equality and opportunities in Massachusetts. We encourage you to bring your colleagues, friends, and families! The event includes time for members of the Commission and supporters to visit legislators to discuss priority legislation that matters to their districts and the Commonwealth as a whole.
