Read Our New Report: Impact of COVID-19: 5 Years Later

The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women (MCSW) is committed to improving the lives of women within Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Between 2020 and 2022, the Commission released a series of reports examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on women and girls and offering recommendations to improve their status and well-being.

And just how are those communities doing, you ask? Here at the MCSW, we’ve recently collected a new set of data to serve as a follow-up to our COVID-19 series research bringing a more up-to-date picture of the status of women and girls in MA. Five years after the onset of the pandemic, MCSW is revisiting this research with new data to provide an updated snapshot of how women and girls in Massachusetts are faring. As we reflect on the years that have passed, we’re releasing an updated snapshot of how women and girls are faring in the Commonwealth.

Join us for a virtual report briefing to explore the findings of Impact of COVID-19: Five Years Later and learn what the data reveals about the lasting effects of the pandemic. At the briefing, MCSW will share the updated report, key statistics, and county snapshots of data that ultimately inform our policy recommendations.
